MPW’s brand new warehouse and distribution centre in Doncaster is open for business.
On 19th November 2018 MPW’s brand new warehouse and distribution centre in Doncaster opened its doors for business. This new facility, located at Redhouse Interchange on the A1(M), is the latest addition to our network of pre-wholesale distribution centres. The warehouse, which is 150,000 square foot, has the capacity for 27,000 ambient storage pallets, 1,200 pallets of controlled drugs and 300 pallets requiring cold chain storage making it our largest facility yet. It’s also FMD ready and available for Brexit stock-piling.
As well as being fully MRHA approved, the warehouse is packed with state-of-the-art features and functionality. The advanced temperature control system ensures both precise heating and cooling whilst retaining environmental credentials in the form of an A rated 25 point energy efficiency award. The use of R F (radio frequency) scanning technology enhances the accuracy of goods-in receipting and we’ve implemented Q Pulse, an industry-leading Quality Management System solution, to optimise quality assurance and compliance.
The warehouse was designed and built as a dedicated pre-wholesale facility and is fully equipped to handle a full spectrum of pharmaceuticals with any permutation of these storage requirements –

Its central geographical position, which is close to many of the major trunking arteries, means that it is well-placed for full UK distribution via our own fleet of liveried HGV vehicles.
