Mawdsleys adopts solar technology across our fleet

Mawdsleys adopts solar technology across our fleet (Sept 2020)

Aware of our impact on the environment as a rapidly growing business, Mawdsleys are working with solar transport solutions company, TRAILAR, to make their solar technology standard across our fleet.

Steve Charlesworth, Logistics Director at Mawdsleys says “We identified TRAILAR’s technology as a green option we could instantly transfer to our business. As our ambitious growth plans will inevitably put more vehicles on the road, we are passionate about doing this as sustainably as possible. TRAILAR will enhance further the initiatives we already have to reduce our carbon footprint. We will continue to investigate all green alternatives to ensure our environmental commitments can be sustained and improved upon.”

In 2021 we will also be looking to implement the use of alternative fuels along with removing vehicle miles by introducing double deck trailers for bulk pharma movements.
